Conner Runyan has sent me a copy of your very useful information on Andrew Williamson’s possible relations. You mention placing a query or information on a website. Would you please consider also adding the following on my behalf? Many thanks.

Seeking information on Dr. Thomas Taylor (b. ca. 1752 in Newcastle upon Tyne, left a will and died in Jamaica, 1802), likely the son of Thomas Taylor (d. 1772) of Alnwick and Isabela Bowmaker (left a will?). Thomas Sr. had eleven sons, seven of whom including likely a Ralph and Henry were alive in 1772. Dr. Thomas Taylor (Jr.) moved to Georgia in 1775, to East Florida in 1782, and Jamaica in 1784. Dr. Thomas Taylor is likely related somehow to the famous insurance agent and memoirist Henry Taylor of Newcastle upon Tyne and North Shields, and also to Simon Taylor, prominent Jamaican planter.

I am no relation but I have collected many fascinating political letters of this Georgia Loyalist Dr. Thomas Taylor. Please contact me by email at or by postal mail at POB 687, Hanceville, AL 35077-0687 USA.

Many thanks.
