Other points of interest
Historically Lesbury was of more importance than nearby Alnwick. But gradually commerce grew and Alnwick
flourished. Lesbury was largely owned by the Duke of Northumberland and it stayed a back water.
One of our favourite houses in lesbury is Close
cottage. An elegant property which offers holiday makers easy access to Alnmouth as well as to Alnwick.
Also nearby is Spindrift beside Boulmer. A great romantic
cottage for two beside the seaside and you can bring your dog as well
